On the occasion of Salone del Mobile 2024, the students of Creative Academy present Secret Garden, an exhibition of unique design pieces created by the young talents of Richemont’s design school, supervised by Eligo Studio, and crafted by master glassmaker Simone Crestani.

To create the objects that make up Secret Garden, the young designers of Creative Academy were asked to interpret the archetype of the secret garden, a metaphorical place where imagination can linger.

All the creations on display have a direct and literal connection to one of the many possible secret gardens of our imagination, or they can evoke one from a physical or perhaps biographical detail: a memory, a fear, a dream.

The sophisticated and engaging exhibition design, curated by Eligo Studio, is inspired by the fusion of artifice and nature to which the villa itself, entirely covered with ancient ivy that envelops its elegant forms, is an extraordinary testimony.

Inside, a series of mirrored structures create a strong contrast between what is artificial and what is natural, allowing the objects designed by Simone Crestani to fully immerse themselves in the secret garden.

Cino Zucchi

“If the dense climbing plant that covers Villa Mozart hides its refined architecture from view, it inevitably takes its form, becoming a magnificent synthesis of artifice and nature and a prophecy of the urban environment we desire.”
