On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025, Eligo Studio brought to life an immersive and theatrical installation for the Magician exhibition, presented by Creative Academy with the support of Cartier, and hosted at Triennale Milano. The project showcased sixteen borosilicate glass creations, designed by students of Richemont Group’s design school and crafted by Master Artisan Simone Crestani.

The concept of the exhibition takes shape through the curatorial and design vision of Eligo Studio, which skillfully translated the theme of magic into a space suspended between reality and illusion, designing an exhibition route that transforms the Fondation Cartier space within Triennale Milano.

A central and symbolic element of the entire project is the reflecting pool designed by Eligo—a mysterious and captivating presence that recalls the work of British artist Richard Wilson.

Much like his renowned installation 20:50, here too the space is entirely overturned: the mirror-like surface of the water cancels gravity and amplifies the vertical dimension, offering an altered and deeply poetic perception of both the environment and the displayed objects.

The visitor is invited to embark on an almost ritualistic journey: a metaphorical path towards a dreamlike dimension, where objects seem to float in space, perfectly balanced between physicality and imagination.

Eligo Studio’s work stands out for its balance between design precision and narrative tension, contributing to the creation of a coherent and immersive visual story. The glass pieces—unique and fragile—are elevated by a scenography that enhances their evocative and symbolic power, turning each object into a suspended spell frozen in time.

In this dialogue between art and design, between emerging creatives and master artisans, Eligo Studio has interpreted Creative Academy’s theme with elegance and depth, once again proving its ability to transform space into an emotional and sensorial experience.
