ABOUT THE PROJECT

Villa Milano is a historic Jewelry Maison founded in 1876 by Benvenuto Villa, goldsmith and alchemist: more than 100 years of history in which tradition and innovation have intertwined making this goldsmith workshop of excellence a point of reference that attracts customers from all over the world.

Today the fifth generation continue the family business with enthusiasm and elegance: in the new boutique with an open laboratory in Via San Carpoforo in Brera, inaugurated in 2021, the customer is invited to participate in the design and creation of his own jewel.

The jewelery pays homage to the architecture of Milanese functionalism and to the design of Carlo Scarpa with references to the use of metal in the form of a grid, whose visual strength is softened by the soft shades of the carpet.

On the ground floor, jewels are protagonists within displays and metal grids; on the upper floor, however, a living room with 1950s furnishings welcomes customers and their requests.

The environment is embellished by two eighteenth-century Coromandel screen-doors from the Chinese Chieng Lung dynasty.
